Mission

The mission of the Arkansas Herpetological Society (AHS) is to promote understanding and conservation of Arkansas’ native reptiles and amphibians through education and research.


Field Trips

AHS normally hosts two field trips each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. This year there will be two spring field trips.

Spring 2016 Field Trip - April 22-24 Arkansas Post National Memorial

The Arkansas Herpetological Society will be paticipating in the Bio Blitz at Arkansas Post National Memorial near Dumas, AR.

Spring 2016 Field Trip - April 29-May 1 Queen Wilhelmina State Park

The North American Field Herping Association (NAFHA) and Arkansas Herpetological Society will be hosting a joint field trip at Queen Wilhelmina State Park near Mena, AR.
